Staff of Holy Bolt, +1

A Zakarum processional staff of pale ash, its brass ferrule worn bright and the Light’s sigil burned into the head. Every deacon of Tristram’s Cathedral carried one to Vespers; this is the only one that still holds the bolt, and the guard who took it from the library’s reliquary died with it in his hands and three ghouls burned black at his feet.

Weapon (quarterstaff), uncommon.

Weapon, +1. You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Guiding Bolt. This staff has 7 charges. While holding it, you can expend no more than 3 charges to cast Guiding Bolt from it, using your spell attack modifier. For 1 charge, you cast the level 1 version of the spell. You can increase the spell’s level by 1 for each additional charge you expend.

Regaining Charges. The staff regains 1d6 + 1 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the staff’s last charge, roll 1d20. On a 1, the staff crumbles into ashes and is destroyed.

Homebrew rules:

Two SRD items in one. A +1 Weapon quarterstaff fused with a Wand of Magic Missiles. The wand casts Guiding Bolt instead of Magic Missile, using your spell attack modifier; everything else is as written.
